BANNING BLUELINE BUSES….

Finally the issue has come to the notice to Delhi government…The deadly transport running freely on Delhi roads with no fear and no restriction.
But is the decision by Sheila Dixit, of phasing out these buses from Delhi roads the right decision? Though killing of innocent people by these buses is not a new story….The saga is ancient, just that it’s the first time d issue has come to life.
I think it’s the easiest way opted by the government to get rid of the whole issue and the easiest way to mollify raging Delhi people…
Indian law is compounded of sections and Acts. Things change with time but still certain acts and sections which need to be omitted or modified exist as such. Or at the worst, are not followed when everyone of us know they are made for our convenience.
Drivers routinely do everything except follow the law. They do not bother to drive in a specified lane, follow speed limits and chitchat on mobile phone also continue side by side. Traffic laws exist and laws to punish those who violate them also exist, what is required is rigorous implementation!
License is issued without any driving test… Believe me when I went for my license, no one bothered to test….That’s when problems burgeon…Everything is weighed against money… Bribe has solution to every problem…. That’s what some think.
Its in hands of police to punish people for breaching traffic laws. Closing blue line buses is not the solution instead this will lead to unemployment….

well i totaly agree wid u trish..... in india bribe is solution to almost every law voilation... u jump a red lite nd if u get caught all u have to do is give 100rs to cop nd dey will let u go... nd dat only in punjab outside punjab ppl say dey will let u go jst if u give em a cigrate.....:-) so steps shud be taken in way of law enforcement.....
nd about closin blue line busses i think its not rite.... but definately dey shud be taught a lesson dat if dey drive carelessly den day will loose der jobs..... if ny thing like dat happenes again d driver shud be thrown into jail...
but still what has always happened in india acc to dat.... ders goin to be nothin at all... d drivers will go on strike nd all.... dey will block roads nd ultimatly government will just let them ride again... nd everybody will forget about all dis after sum time.... nd dats a bitter truth about our system....

so wat do r u suggesting? development is a slow process. aint it?

the bribe thing! it is not our govt that is corrupt. it is the whole society dear. we r the ones who r willing to pay for bribes to get things done easier. if u were caught without ur driving license, wud ya not pay the cop 100 rs to get rid of the thing? it is not so easy to change the society. it will happen, but u have to giv it time.

absolutely rite bout the bribe thing..but i ll never let that happen by me or by neone if i find one doing that...Society is made by us,so its our responsibility to keep a check... Rest toppings can be added by spreading the word and bringing awareness to ppl to not continue with such tasks as indirectly its affecting our living.
